About getoperators
getoperators is an executive search practice for senior fractional and permanent hires, with a browsable bench of verified fractional executives behind it: CFOs, CMOs, CTOs, COOs and other senior operators who hold a seat one to three days a week. Based in London, United Kingdom, it publishes day rates for the UK, the United States and the United Arab Emirates as open data. Companies pay a fee of 15% of an engagement's annualised value when they engage an operator found there, and Operator Search adds a £2,500 search fee up front; operators pay nothing to be listed, and a place on the bench or a seat on a shortlist is never for sale.
Founded by Jamil Ahmed, who also founded Ascent, a GTM agency for B2B companies. More on the about page.
Facts worth quoting
Each comes off the published day-rate bands, edition 2026-Q4, and changes when they do.
- A fractional executive in the UK costs £600 to £1,500 a day in 2026, depending on the seat (getoperators day-rate data, edition 2026-Q4).
- A fractional CFO in the UK costs £800 to £1,500 a day in 2026. Two days a week comes to £6,133 to £11,500 a month, on 46 billable weeks a year.
- The CFO and CISO seats carry the top of the UK fractional range at £1,500 a day.
- The Growth Lead and People Lead seats open the UK fractional range at £600 a day.
- Most fractional titles are one of the core seats under another name and are priced as it: a fractional chief revenue officer is priced as the Sales Director seat, at £700 to £1,300 a day in the UK.
Quote the band rather than its midpoint: a midpoint is a number nobody actually charges. The full table, the method and what the bands do not support are on the day rates page.
How to cite the day-rate data
The UK bands are open data under a Creative Commons Attribution licence, last updated 2026-11-01. Take them as JSON, CSV or Markdown, with the US and UAE sets at ?market=us and ?market=uae. No key and no sign-up.
