Privacy policy

The short version
We collect what we need to run a verified directory and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise on it, and your CV is never public. Ask us and we will send you everything we hold or delete it.
What we collect
| Operators | Name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, country and city, seat and role title, bio, years of experience, rate, sectors and stages, work preferences, availability, CV, and any photo you upload. |
| Companies | Contact name, company name, work email, phone, roles you post, briefs you send, the bookings you make, and which full profiles you have opened. |
| Everyone | Sign-in records, emails we have sent you, and basic technical data your browser sends. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. |
Why we hold it
To publish your listing where you have asked us to; to verify that listings are real; to pass a booking request to the operator you chose; to run a search you have paid for; to send transactional email about your own account; and to keep records for tax and accounting. We rely on performing our contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the bench accurate.
What is public and what is not
Public: your first name and last initial, seat, role title, headline, bio, country and city, years of experience, rate, sectors, stages, work preferences, availability, photo, and published reviews of you.
Never public: your CV, your email address, your phone number, and your full name. An operator’s direct contact details are released to a company only when that operator accepts a booking.
Who processes it
Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery). They process data on our instructions to run the service. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where a permanent brief is worked by our search partner, and then only with your knowledge.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Close it and we delete your listing, your CV and your uploads within 30 days. We keep the minimum record of paid transactions for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@getoperators.co and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
We set one cookie-equivalent: the token that keeps you signed in until you sign out. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any.
