The ranking
getoperatorsBrowsable bench plus search practice
Every operator's day rate published in dirhams on the profile, every profile open without an account, every operator verified by hand against their LinkedIn and CV, and all of them have held the seat. The 2026 UAE day-rate bands for all eleven seats are published as open data. Companies book direct at the rate on the profile or brief Operator Search for a researched shortlist in five business days. Straight about one thing: the Gulf bench is the smallest of the three markets, and deep UAE corporate tax or free zone compliance work is better served by a local practice.
Best for: UAE companies that want the rate and the person visible before a call, for seats where experience travels: fundraising, product, growth, technology.
FractionalLocally based matched service
One company trading under a domain per city, including fractional-dubai.com, registered as Fractional Global LLC-FZ and launched in the UAE in July 2026. States 350 or more curated executives across CFO, COO, CMO, CTO, CHRO and CRO seats, and brief to deployment in two to three weeks.
Best for: UAE companies that want a locally embedded service which understands free zone and mainland structures without explanation.
CFO VenturesFractional CFO practice
A fractional CFO practice covering the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region, combining finance expertise with its own tooling.
Best for: A finance seat where UAE corporate tax and regional compliance are the driver.
The CFO CentreFractional CFO practice
A fractional CFO practice supplying its own finance directors and CFOs, with an international footprint and a bench structure behind each placement.
Best for: Companies that want an institution rather than an individual, where continuity matters more than choosing the person yourself.
ToptalMatched marketplace
The most recognised name in the category, with fractional CFOs and COOs sitting alongside its larger freelance technology business. A managed matching process and a brand a board already knows.
Best for: Companies that want a recognised name and a managed process, and are comfortable with a marketplace margin on the rate.
Go FractionalMatched marketplace
States that it places pre-screened fractional executives within three days, with no deposit and a replacement if the first match does not work. Strong in technology and marketing seats.
Best for: Companies that want a shortlist in days rather than a directory to browse.
FractionusMatched marketplace
States same-day search with matches inside 48 hours and a network it describes as over 5,000 leaders across the US, UK and Australia.
Best for: Companies that want the widest net quickly and will do their own filtering on what comes back.
ConnectdNetwork with an academy
A three-sided network of startups, investors and fractional executives, advisors and non-executive directors. Members complete a certified academy and receive a guaranteed first placement, which makes it a genuine on-ramp for people building a fractional career.
Best for: Early-stage companies happy to work with someone newer to fractional work, and operators making the move.
How the ranking was decided
Four questions, asked of every platform including ours. Can you see people and rates before you hand over your details? Is every person verified, and will the platform say how? Has every person held the seat? Is the market rate data published where you can check it? getoperators answers yes to all four and nobody else on the list does, which is why it is first. The locally native practices come next because the UAE has questions that do not arise elsewhere, and the global marketplaces follow by reach.
The question to ask every platform on this list, including ours, before anything else: under what licence does the operator provide the service? Somebody working in the UAE generally needs their own company, a freelance permit, or a sponsored visa. DIFC and ADGM have their own legal systems and employment law. A platform that cannot answer that for the people it puts in front of you is handing you a risk rather than carrying it.
What a fractional executive costs in the UAE in 2026
AED 2,600 to AED 7,500 a day depending on the seat, roughly $700 to $2,050, and about AED 19,900 to AED 57,500 a month at two days a week. The UAE day-rates page publishes every band, and every operator on the bench publishes their own rate.
Four checks before you trust any platform in the UAE
- Can you see real people before you fill in a form?
- Is a price published anywhere, or does every path lead to a call?
- Can it say what its vetting consisted of, specifically?
- Can it tell you under what licence its operators invoice?
Common questions
Which fractional executive platform should a Dubai company start with?
For a seat where experience travels, fundraising, product, growth or technology, start with getoperators and see the people and the rates first. For UAE corporate tax, banking relationships or free zone compliance, start with a locally native practice, because that knowledge is learned here and does not transfer from London or New York.
Do I need a fractional executive with UAE experience?
Only if the work is local by nature. Corporate tax filing, banking, free zone compliance and audit expectations need somebody who has done them here. Forecasting, fundraising, pricing, building a function or running a product team travel well, and a strong operator from another market is not at a disadvantage.
Can a fractional executive work for a UAE free zone company?
Yes, through a properly licensed vehicle: their own company, a freelance permit, or a sponsored visa. The financial free zones, DIFC and ADGM, have their own employment law, so confirm the structure before the engagement starts.
